On May 10, 2021, the United States Department of Treasury (Treasury) released a Dear Tribal Leader Letter (DTLL) available here. This DTLL announced the formula and the process for distribution of the $20 billion tribal set aside within the American Rescue Plan Act (ARP), Fiscal Recovery Fund (FRF). The ARP allocates $20 billion to Tribal governments, directing that (i) $1 billion is to be allocated equally among eligible Tribal governments; and (ii) $19 billion is to be allocated to Tribal governments in a manner determined by the Secretary of the Treasury. In response to the ARP’s passage, Treasury initiated consultations on implementation of this fund. A summary of those consultations is available here.
Treasury will host two events this week. First, Treasury will host a tribal leader briefing today on May 10, 2021 at 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm EDT to provide further information regarding today’s DTLL. The access information is as follows:

5/18 Message to the COVID-19 Community Corps:
Last week, the Pfizer vaccine became available for adolescents 12 through 15 years of age – a big next step in our mission to get America vaccinated and keep us all protected.
Tomorrow, U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy will host a roundtable discussion for parent-focused trusted messenger groups to uplift the collective efforts already underway to address adolescent and parent vaccine confidence and to ask these groups to commit to efforts in their own networks.
Have a question about vaccine outreach to parents? Submit your question here for the roundtable event.
The goal of this call is to provide and facilitate knowledge sharing, to activate new trusted messengers and groups in their communities, and to share a call to action for how we'll overcome this pandemic.
Trusted messenger groups will receive latest scientific and medical updates, toolkits, and resources to support vaccine confidence efforts. The discussion will include parent advocacy groups, educators, bloggers, youth groups, faith leaders, and media groups.
We look forward to you joining this conversation.

Community Corps Members:
Since we’ve launched COVID-19 Community Corps, we’ve focused on putting our power behind reaching as many people as we can to protect our communities. But our work is far from over -- there are still millions of people who haven’t gotten vaccinated or are waiting to get vaccinated.
That’s why we’re coming together to build a month-long mobilization effort, aiming to bring people the facts about the safe, effective, no cost COVID-19 vaccine. And we need your help.
This has been a challenging year, but we’re seeing the glimmer of light and hope. We may have been knocked down by this pandemic this past year, but now is our chance to get our communities vaccinated, support one another, and rise once again.
Thanks for all you do to keep us going.
