Infectious Disease Regional Institute: IHS Bemidji and Nashville Service Areas

The National Indian Health Board (NIHB) is excited to announce the 2021 Infectious Disease Regional Institute. The Institute will be virtually held on Thursday, November 4, 2021.
NIHB is hosting three free regional institutes to provide a learning environment for Tribal frontline personnel and communities experiencing significant disease outbreaks to strategize how to apply guidelines, connect with existing resources and tools, and train on using existing tools for COVID-19 response and recovery efforts. The first regional institute will be held on November 4, 2021, for the IHS Bemidji and Nashville service areas. The dates for the remaining two regional institutes are to be determined. CME, APA/NBCC, and NAADAC continuing education credits will be offered.
Target Audience
This Institute is targeted towards physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, school nurses, pharmacists, health educators, medical and nursing students, and other health care providers and public health professionals interested in updating their knowledge and skills on infectious diseases, outbreak strategies, and patient communication.
