This webinar will focus on developing providers’ skills in supporting parents/families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders in the areas of education. Providers will be able to teach families strategies to support their children in the new learning environment. Additionally, providers will be able to inform families of their rights for educational supports during the COVID-19 crisis. Teaching tools will include resource page, quick facts for providers, and handouts for families.
Learning Objectives: (1) Educate families to integrate effective learning/education strategies for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, (2) Assist families in modifying learning strategies to support children's learning in the online environment, and (3) Inform families of children with a neurodevelopmental disorder about educational rights.

The Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) will host the 1-hour webinar, “COVID-19 Vaccination Implementation,” on December 3 at 12 noon (ET). This presentation will update partners on COVID-19 vaccine planning and implementation. Specific topics include an overview of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccine distribution strategy, current state planning efforts, and the COVID-19 “Vaccinate with Confidence” Strategy.

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session with CDC subject matter experts.

The IHS COVID-19 sessions convene IHS, tribal and urban area providers from around the U.S., many working in rural areas with limited resources, in crucial real-time, peer-to-peer clinical learning.
IHS national clinical consultants for Emergency Medicine and Infectious Disease present and lead discussions on topics including
This allows local providers and national experts to discuss urgent focus areas and new developments in COVID-19 screening, treatment, and management of post-infection syndromes.
The sessions occur on the first and third Thursday of each month and include a clinical update by the IHS Chief Clinical Consultant for Infectious Disease, an update from IHS headquarters, case presentations and a brief didactic presentation.

(UNITY) and We R Native for a discussion on how youth can help prevention SARS-Co-2 infection, the virus that causes COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the lives of youth and young adults with the disruption of schools and sports and having to adapt to a new way of living and interacting with family and friends. In light of the recent spike in COVID-19 cases among youth and young adults and the role young people can play in community outreach and mitigating risk during this crisis. This webinar will explore resources and strategies on how to engage youth in prevention activities.
