National Indian Child Welfare Association

September 20, 2022 - September 22, 2022

If you are looking for a way to connect with colleagues, build your network, and receive the latest updates on the Brackeen v. Haaland case, then join the National Indian Child Welfare Association at the Seneca Niagara Resort and Casino, located in Niagara Falls, New York, nestled just an hour and a half south of the Canadian border for two exciting trainings on September 20–22, 2022.

Register by Friday, August 19, 2022, to take advantage of the early-bird discount. Whether you have been involved in child welfare for three weeks or thirty years, the Understanding ICWA course is a helpful refresher. The training will be led by Director of Government Affairs and Advocacy David Simmons. David has over 30 years of experience, and he will give updates on NICWA’s Protect ICWA campaign work. Joining him in this dynamic training is Government Affairs and Community Development Fellow Mariah Meyerholz. Participants in this training will receive tips for implementing ICWA in their communities, as well as the latest update in the Brackeen v. Haaland case.
