National Indian Education Association Hill Week
NIEA will be hosting its Annual Hill Week Events, March 15-17, 2022 at the Holiday Inn, Capitol in Washington, DC. Hill Week participants will receive two days of training and updates from our public and private sector partners to educate them about Native Education needs and garner support for NIEA’s top legislative priorities.
Participants will have an opportunity to meet with members of Congress and their staff. Through these engagements, you can showcase the work you are doing for Native students and highlight the impact of federal legislation on Native education within your local communities.
Your outreach will be the first step in building an ongoing relationship with legislators and their staff and will go a long way towards strengthening NIEA’s advocacy efforts.
