NCAI Tribal Leader Infrastructure Town Hall

The National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) and partner organizations will convene a Tribal Leader Town Hall on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. EDT. The purpose of the Town Hall is to discuss H.R. 3684: The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which is the $1.2 trillion bi-partisan infrastructure package passed by the U.S. Senate today.
The package proposes historic investments over five years in critical infrastructure sectors including transportation, water infrastructure, energy, utilities, climate resiliency, and various other areas. During the Town Hall, NCAI policy team members and guest speakers will discuss the next steps for this bill, strategic considerations, and will provide legislative analysis.
