SUMMARY:US Dept of Energy: Carbon Interactive Workshop
DESCRIPTION:DOE will be hosting a workshop on Monday\, November 7\, at the Vista at the Boathouse (Gathering Place) from 12:30 – 5:30 PM. The event will be interactive\, including discussions with local speakers\, researchers\, federal agencies\, and community-based organizations\, in addition to facilitated discussions for participants to share their concerns or questions. The participants will include a cross-section of stakeholders from the Tulsa and Oklahoma region. \nBelow is a general overview of the session topics. Please see attached Information Sheet with more details. \n\nSession 1 – What kind of carbon projects\, and why?\nSession 2 – Would these projects fit here in Oklahoma?\nSession 3 – What can be done to mitigate project impacts?\nSession 4 – Open plan session – Q-and-A exhibits\n\nSnacks and beverages will be provided.
