Urban Indian Health Institute’s Accidental Grant Writer interactive virtual workshop will teach you about the proposal lifecycle, from research to submission, and how to develop a strong grant writing plan. You’ll explore and practice persuasive writing techniques to communicate your grant request in a way that highlights your organization’s strengths and wisdom. Participants will have opportunities throughout the workshop session to interact with staff of other urban Native programs and share learnings with each other. You’ll also have the chance to look at grant writing from the perspective of a grant reviewer by reading and assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a short grant proposal.
