SUMMARY:FBI CAST (Cellular Analysis Survey Team) Overview Presentation
DESCRIPTION:This webinar presentation will provide an overview of the FBI CAST (Cellular Analysis Survey Team) program. An FBI Special Agent will cover how cellular phones interact with cell towers and all three major cellular phone service providers. The presenter will also address the process for requesting CAST assistance in an emergency case concerning a missing person or fugitive as well as assistance with obtaining and mapping phone records for a case. Several case examples and scenarios will be presented to illustrate investigation techniques and how to incorporate cell phone records in investigations. \n\n\n\nThis training is restricted to federal\, state\, and Tribal prosecutors\, law enforcement and intelligence analysts employed by a law enforcement agency.
