DESCRIPTION:Framing Paper \nITEMC Virtual FEMA Advisory FEB 2025 \nDear Tribal Leader Letter \nMarch 6 at 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm Eastern\nRegister \nIn response to the letter FEMA received from the Inter-Tribal Emergency Management Coalition (ITEMC) Chairman\, FEMA hosted a tribal consultation on FEMA’s grant programs on August 22\, 2024\, during the ITEMC Summit. As a follow up to that consultation\, FEMA is hosting another consultation in a virtual format to continue gathering vital feedback on its grant programs. FEMA’s senior leadership will lead the consultation. Topics to discuss include: \n\nIssues with FEMA grant program processes and applications;\nTribal barriers and challenges\, including the accessibility of FEMA grants; and\nOther tribal needs related to building resilience.\n\nWritten Comments:  \nTo submit questions in advance of the tribal consultation\, please email gpd-comms@fema.dhs.gov or a FEMA Regional Tribal Liaison. \n To submit comments following the March 6 tribal consultation\, please email gpd-comms@fema.dhs.gov or the FEMA Regional Tribal Liaisons on or before May 9\, 2025\, at 5 p.m. ET.  \n Contact information for FEMA Tribal Liaisons is available at www.fema.gov/about/contact.
