SUMMARY:Behavioral Health Integration Webinar Series: Integrating Substance Use Treatment into Integrated Care Settings
DESCRIPTION:Patients diagnosed with substance use disorder (SUD) frequently encounter stigma in their personal lives as well as in clinical settings. Consequently\, establishing a foundation of trust between these patients and their care teams presents both a significant challenge and a critical necessity. Integrated care settings offer distinct advantages that can be leveraged to support SUD patients\, distinguishing them from non-integrated environments. This discourse will examine effective methodologies for integrating the treatment of SUD patients within the framework of integrated care settings.  \n\n\n\nObjectives: 1. Identify SUD signs\, symptoms\, and associated health conditions. 2. Examine unique challenges and opportunities for treating SUD patients in integrated care settings. 3. Evaluate the role of trust-building in enhancing the effectiveness of clinical care for SUD patients within integrated care setting.  \n\n\n\nCredits: 1 hour of ACCME\, ANCC\, AAPA\, ASWB\, APA To receive a certificate of continuing education\, you must electronically sign-in for the session\, participate in the entire live internet activity and complete the online evaluation. You will be able to print your certificate after completing the evaluation. The evaluation for this session will close two weeks from the date of the webinar.
