DESCRIPTION:Dear Tribal Leader: \n\n\n\nThe U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service is notifying you of the opportunity to consult on the agency’s implementation of the Expanding Public Lands Outdoor Recreation Experiences (EXPLORE) Act. \n\n\n\nThe Forest Service National Policy Summary Analysis summarizes key pieces of the legislation and identifies how implementation may affect Tribal governments\, Alaska Native Corporations\, and the Tribal citizens they may represent. This information\, as well as information on other agency issues\, is also available on the Forest Service\, Office of Tribal Relations’ National Consultation webpage at https://www.fs.usda.gov/working-with-us/tribal-relations/national-consultation. \n\n\n\nThe agency is planning a Tribal Forum engagement session on February 11th to share information and answer questions pertaining to this issue. The details of the forum are below as well as the registration link.
