SUMMARY:Tribal Public Health Preparedness and Resilience Task Force Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The USET Tribal Public Health Preparedness and Resilience Task Force (Tribal PHPR) is a Tribally centered epidemiological approach to public health preparedness and resilience. Its primary goal is to strengthen the resilience of Tribal Nations in the USET region through strategies focused on mitigation\, prevention\, and preparation in the disaster management cycle.  \n\n\n\nThe Task Force also builds relationships between Tribal Nations and the USET Epidemiology Team\, creating a space to share best practices\, discuss public health strategies\, and collaborate on preparedness efforts. \n\n\n\nWhen: The first Tuesday of each month at 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Central/1:00 pm – 2:00 pm EasternMeetings will last 30-60 minutes\, depending on the topic. Attend any meetings you are able — no ongoing commitment required. \n\n\n\nWho should attend: You must be an employee\, citizen\, or otherwise designated with a USET member Tribal Nation to join. \n\n\n\n\nTribal Leaders & Tribal Council Members\n\n\n\nHealth Directors\, Physicians\, Medical Staff\, Behavioral Health Professionals\, Public Health Nurses\n\n\n\nEmergency Response / Coordination Personnel\, Homeland Security Personnel\n\n\n\nEmergency Services Personnel\, First Responders\, Public Safety Personnel\n\n\n\nEpidemiologists\, Data Specialists\n\n\n\nRisk Management Personnel\, Community Planners\n\n\n\nEnvironmental Health Staff\, Public Works Personnel\n\n\n\n\nRegistration is open! \n\n\n\nQuestions? SUMMARY:2026 USET Community Resilience Roundtables
DESCRIPTION:Join the USET’s Office of Environmental Resource Management (OERM) Tribal Community Resilience Program for a series of virtual roundtable discussions on Tribal Nations’ resilience strategies\, successes\, and challenges. Each roundtable will begin with a short presentation on an environmental or community project taking place in the USET region followed by questions and open discussion for attendees to learn from one another and build community across the region. The topic of each roundtable will be announced the week before each session via social media and email. We encourage attendees to join even the sessions that may not be obviously related to their interests or duties since all facets of environmental resilience interact and discussions are enriched by diverse participants.  \n\n\n\nThese roundtables are intended exclusively for Tribal citizens and staff of Tribal Nations and Tribal organizations\, especially in the USET region\, and are not open to non-Tribal partners. To promote a comfortable and safer environment for discussion\, the roundtables will not be recorded. For the same reason\, AI/note-taking bots are not permitted and will be removed from each session. \n\n\n\nWhen: The fourth Thursday of each month at 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Central/2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Eastern \n\n\n\nWho should attend: Tribal Nation staff\, leaders\, and citizens interested in environmental and community resilience regardless of typical work duties \n\n\n\nLearning objectives: Attendees will learn about new approaches to environmental and community resilience across Nations and sectors while building relationships and potential partnerships across the region. \n\n\n\nRegistration is open! \n\n\n\nQuestions?
