This means that Indigenous economic and finance ideas and leadership are not engaged in today’s solutions\, and are not systematically informing the next generation of new investment models. \nHow do we change that\, so that we can co-create the solutions our Earth critically requires? \n  \nHosted in-person on Turtle Island (North America) and open to participants from around the globe\, this 2.5-day summit will convene 400 Indigenous and non-Indigenous practitioners\, investors\, academics\, thought-leaders and policymakers in climate\, conservation and sustainability. \nThis isn’t your typical conference. The impact on Tribal Nations will be immediate and\, in some cases\, potentially severe. Join the NCAI and NARF for a critical discussion on the proposed regulatory revisions to the “Waters of the United States” (WOTUS) definition. The resulting definition threatens to strip federal protection from streams and wetlands vital to Tribal reserved rights including hunting\, fishing\, and gathering by eliminating key jurisdictional standards.This webinar will provide Tribal leaders\, legal counsel\, and environmental staff with an analysis and commentary of the proposed rule\, which attempts to codify the Supreme Court’s 2023 ruling in Sackett v. DESCRIPTION:By Public Notice (DA 25-1003)\, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announces two new dates for virtual Tribal Consultation on potential changes to the FCC’s National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) rules.  The FCC has also updated the framing paper to reflect changes to key dates.   \n\n\n\n\nDecember 11\, 2025\, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET\n\n\n\nJanuary 14\, 2026\, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET\n\n\n\n\nFederally-recognized Tribal Nations and Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHOs) interested in consulting should send an email to Native@fcc.gov with a subject line indicating the date of participation\, “Consultation – December 11\,” or “Consultation – January 14.”  \n\n\n\nPlease note that comments and meetings are also permitted at any time after the reply comment deadline\, subject to the FCC’s ex parte rules for presentations on the merits or outcome of the rulemaking.  Virtual Tribal Consultations may be recorded and transcribed.
