Yesterday, July 18, 2018 the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Principal Chief Richard Sneed, Vice Chief Alan B Ensley and members of the Tribal Council joined Tribal senior citizens to cut the ribbon on the Tribe’s new bowling alley. The venue, operated by Ultra Star Multitainment is located at the Tribe’s Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River casino located in Murphy, North Carolina. The new venue features a full service restaurant, bowling alley, video arcade and other amenities and will bring significant employment opportunities to the area. The Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River casino is the Tribe’s second gaming facility and has made the Tribe one of the largest employers in Western North Carolina. The venue is expected to open to the public on July 23, 2018.
