During the National Congress of American Indians Executive Council Winter Session held in Washington, DC March 11-13, 2014 USET provided a table to inform attendees and participants of the importance of securing a Carcieri Fix. Attendees stopping by the table could pick up a custom-made button urging Congress to Fix Carcieri Now, Protect Tribal Homelands, Protect our Human Rights, and Protect Tribal Sovereignty.

Also available were takeaway folders containing a dear colleague letter from Congressional delegates McCollum and Cole, an inter-tribal letter urging Congress to pass a Clean Carcieri Fix, a Myths and Facts sheet, a one pager on why Tribes should care about securing a fix and a template letter for Tribal Leaders to use to contact their Congressional delegates.

USET members spoke to the attendees during a Carcieri session on the importance of a unified effort to secure a Clean Fix.
