MASHANTUCKET, CT – On Saturday, November 4, Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation are excited to launch the fifth annual “Stuff the Bus” campaign in support of United Way of Southeastern Connecticut and its “Tommy Toy” Fund program.
Foxwoods is collecting unwrapped toys, blankets, pajamas, jackets and diapers to donate to local families in need this holiday season. Donations are being collected at the Foxwoods Bus Terminal through December 11, according to a release.
Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation are committed to giving back to the community and have enjoyed a successful partnership with the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut and the Tommy Toy Fund Program.
Last year, the campaign resulted in nearly 16,000 donated items and benefitted over 6,000 children. “Stuff the Bus” is just one of dozens of giving campaigns that Foxwoods and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation support annually.
