Honoring Native American Code Talkers 11/8/2017

During times of war, secure communications can mean the difference between life and death. In World War I and World War II, Native American soldiers, sailors and marines used their native languages to develop codes that could not be broken. Those men became known as Code Talkers and their courage and creativity saved many American lives.

With both Veterans Day and Native American Heritage Month in November, it is a great time to tell the stories of these heroes.
