Move over kids, a new restaurant is coming to town. Well, it’s coming to Texas.

The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe and Tunica-Biloxi Holdings, Inc. of Louisiana signed a deal to bring five Tom + Chee eateries to the Houston area. The restaurant, based out of Cincinnati, is known for its menu of grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup. One of it’s specialities is a Fancy Grilled Cheese Donut, “an inside-out donut” grilled with cheese and “warmed to perfection with lots of great complementary and contrasting toppings.”

“Tom+Chee is growing rapidly, and the team at TBHI is the perfect partner to push our business forward in the great state of Texas,” co-founders Corey Ward and Trew Quackenbush said in a news release. “The Tunica-Biloxi share Tom+Chee’s values of both service and entrepreneurial spirit. We are very excited to work with them.”

Ward and Quackenbush appeared on ABC’s “Shark Tank” – a TV show that gives entreprenuers a chance to win over a group of “sharks” so one of them will finance their venture –in 2013.

According to the Houston Business Journal, the company originally started as a food tent, but has since expanded to 19 stores in operation, and 170 under contract in 20 states. The restaurants will open first in Sugarland and Katy, both located outside of Houston.

Tunica-Biloxi Holdings, Inc. website says it’s “dedicated to a prosperous future for generations to come.” The tribe also operates Louisiana’s first land-based casino, Paragon Casino Resort, which opened in Marksville, Louisiana in 1994.

“We’re excited to bring the Tom+Chee concept to the Houston Market,” Andre Gallardo, the CEO of Tunica-Biloxi Holdings, Inc., said in a news release. “With a range of salads, soups and the amazing Grilled Cheese Donut, we think Tom+Chee will be right at home here.”
