(Nashville) – – The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) has announced that four individuals from the United South and Eastern Tribes, Inc. (USET) region are recipients of the prestigious national “Native American 40 Under 40” recognition awards. Recipients for 2014 includeCourtney Monteiro (Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head – Aquinnah), Peter Hahn (Seminole Tribe of Florida), Justin Bennett (Cayuga Nation), and Justin Tarbell (St. Regis Mohawk Tribe).
USET President Brian Patterson praised the group of individuals selected by NCAIED. “USET is extremely proud of the accomplishments and contributions made by all 40 of these individuals. Our goals are to promote the sovereignty of our Tribal nations and this is proof we have the capable young minds who have good hearts working for the betterment of Indian Country. Our wish is that their path of success will continue. The award is prestigious to these recipients and marks greatness in our USET region,” stated Patterson.
The 2014 Native American 40 Under 40 Awards will be presented at NCAIED’s 39th Annual Indian Progress In Business Awards Gala (INPRO) being held at RES Wisconsin October 8th at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino.
