Celebrating 21 years of executive education designed specifically for water and wastewater professionals, the Water & Wastewater Leadership Center is currently accepting applications for its 2022 class. Exceptional leadership is essential as water and wastewater utilities strive to thrive as utilities of the future.
Hosted by the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill)’s top-ranked Kenan-Flagler Business School, the Water & Wastewater Leadership Center is an intensive two-week residential learning experience featuring top-notch professors and state of the art facilities. With a limited class size (no more than 30 water sector professionals), utility executives have the unique opportunity to collaborate and learn from each other’s experiences in addition to receiving unparalleled personal attention from faculty.
With the belief that exceptional leadership is essential to the continued success of the water sector, the Association of Metropolitan Water Agencies (AMWA), the American Water Works Association (AWWA), the National Association of Clean Water Agencies and the Water Environment Federation (WEF) – in partnership with the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) – are pleased to continue their collaboration to ensure that the Leadership Center arms utility executives with the management and leadership skills they need to excel.
National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) – For 50 years, the National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) has been the nation’s recognized leader in legislative, regulatory, and legal advocacy on the full spectrum of clean water issues, as well as a top technical resource for water management, sustainability, and ecosystem protection interests.
NACWA represents public wastewater and stormwater agencies of all sizes nationwide. The Association’s unique and growing network strengthens the advocacy voice for all member utilities, and ensures they have the tools necessary to provide affordable and sustainable clean water for all.
