Position Description

The Tribal Health Care Reform Program Manager serves as the principal NIHB lead overseeing a national campaign on education and outreach training and technical assistance campaign on the Affordable Care Act. The Tribal Health Care Reform Program Manager will lead a dynamic operation to reach, engage, and educate Tribal Leaders, Tribal Health Directors, Tribal business owners, and individual American Indians and Alaska Natives on the Affordable Care Act. The incumbent will manage a small team to provide comprehensive technical assistance and education on the Affordable Care Act by providing ongoing analysis and evaluation of health care reform knowledge in Indian Country at the Tribal community, regional, and national levels and apply this knowledge to the day-to-day leadership and direction setting of the National Indian Health Outreach and Education (NIHOE) project. The Program Manager will work closely with NIHB Federal Relations, Communications and Legislative Staff and collaborating partners.
