Position Description

The Tribal Health Reform Policy and Program Associate will be part of the team leading a national campaign on education and outreach training and technical assistance campaign on the Affordable Care Act. The Associate plays a key role in this campaign by coordinating and conducting consumer-centered outreach, education, and technical assistance on a national scale for federally recognized Tribes and Tribal organizations on the new opportunities relevant to American Indians and Alaska Natives as part of the Affordable Care Act and the Indian Health Care Improvement Act. The Associate will provide ongoing analysis and evaluation of the status of health care reform knowledge in Indian Country at the Tribal community, regional, and national levels and apply this knowledge to the day-to-day implementation of the National Indian Health Outreach and Education (NIHOE) project.
