NCAI Facilitated Tribal Leader Caucus Prior to USDA’s Consultation on Renewable Energy Infrastructure Funding

On Thursday, December 15, 2022, NCAI will host a tribal leader caucus beginning at 2:00 p.m. EST. The tribal leader caucus is intended to be a space for tribal participants to freely discuss issues related to the USDA consultation on renewable energy infrastructure. No federal participants or press are permitted in the caucus.
Immediately following the caucus, the United States Department of Agriculture will hold a consultation session on the Inflation Reduction Act’s (IRA) renewable energy infrastructure funding as well as related energy/electric programs. The consultation session will be held virtually beginning at 3:00 p.m. EST. For more information on the consultation, please read the Dear Tribal Leader Letter.
