USET SPF Legal Defense Fund

Indian Country continues to be confronted with attacks and challenges to our inherent sovereign rights and authorities. During a time of resurgence and rebuilding by Tribal Nations, challenges to these rights and authorities by our opponents seem to only be increasing. At the core of USET SPF’s litigation efforts is the defense and protection of Tribal sovereign rights and authorities, answering this onslaught of well-funded efforts in federal and state courts that attempt to diminish Tribal sovereignty and weaken the federal trust obligation. To continue this work, USET SPF needs a strong legal defense fund to be unrelenting in the defense of Tribal sovereignty with our litigation efforts.
