Social Services
The health of Tribal communities depends on more than just physical health. Tribal Social Services departments seek to address social determinants of health, including basic needs, such as clothing, food, and shelter, as well as family supports and behavioral health services. USET SPF advocates for the full exercise of self-governance in these programs, as well as increased resources for Tribal Nations for social service offerings.
