USET’s Tribal Epidemiology Center Public Health Infrastructure (TECPHI) program has been working with the Chickahominy Indian Tribe over the past year as they’ve conducted outreach to Tribal citizens to encourage COVID-19 vaccination and provide PPE. Through the TECPHI program, 500 masks and 100 yard signs promoting COVID-19 mitigation behaviors were distributed.

Additionally, USET staff worked with Tribal Nation staff to conduct a public health infrastructure assessment to inform future planning efforts, provided training on program evaluation, and responded to a number of special technical assistance requests.
