The purpose of this webinar is to support preparedness and early awareness of New World Screwworm (NWS), the current situation in Central America and Mexico, how NWS is a threat to tribal nations and tribal communities, as well as how to identify and treat infestations. The session will also highlight the risks NWS poses to tribal members, public health, livestock, food systems, and economies and how we can partner to report suspected cases in both people and animals.
