The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Division of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with the Centers for Medicaid & CHIP Services, will hold an All Tribes Webinar on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 1:00-2:30 pm Eastern Time.

On September 15, 2025, CMS announced details on how states can apply to receive funding from the $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program created under the Working Families Tax Cuts Act to strengthen health care across rural America.

During this webinar, presenters will provide an overview and introduction to the Rural Health Transformation Program, that invites all fifty states to apply for funding to address each state’s specific rural health challenges. The Program will enable states to reimagine care delivery and develop innovative solutions to address causes of poor health outcomes specific to rural America.

Presenters will discuss the programs’ goals and how the $50 billion program funding will be allocated to five approved states. The deadline for states to apply is November 5, 2025.
