USET’s Office of Economic Development is hosting our ongoing Economic Cluster Working Group sessions for our Creative Economies and Tourism Industry sectors. As part of our updated Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) plan to help rebuild and grow different areas of Tribal economies, we have created working groups that will work on key economic areas. The focus of this meeting will be to discuss initiating an Indigenous-led program on how to execute Indigenous exhibitions/pop-ups at different art museums throughout the USET Tribal member region to encourage tourism and community visitation.
When: September 16 at 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm Central/2:30 pm – 4:00 pm Eastern
Who should attend: Tribal leaders, Tribal economic developers and staff, and community stakeholders, Tourism Industry leaders, Tribal Nation Museum Directors, Indigenous Exhibition Producers, and Indigenous Artists.
Learning objectives: Guest Speakers from multiple areas of Museum Management, Exhibition Curation, Tourism Fashion Design/Art businesses.
