A recent article by Chloe Shelford with the Wareham Week Today provides an excellent recap of an event that was organized by the Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe, Save the Pine Barrens, and Save Massachusetts Forests. At the event people of all ages gathered in support for protecting the environment by limiting solar development on previously undeveloped land. Speaking at the event was Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal council member David Weeden along with others from this USET member Nation that provided their perspectives on these environmental issues.
