This is the first opportunity put forth in the Forest Landowner Support Program, which is funded through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). For the first funding opportunity, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack recently announced that the Forest Service is making $150 million from the IRA available to support participation of underserved and small acreage forest landowners in emerging markets for climate mitigation and forest resilience.

Current funding opportunities have static and rolling deadlines, and more will be added in the future.
