Experience the concepts from the SAP-Ne silviculture webinar, and more, brought to life in the woods of present-day Maine. During this SAP-Ne Demonstration Site Field Tour, you’ll explore on-the-ground management, monitoring, and decision-making within a pre-invasion forest at the Bud Leavitt Wildlife Management Area. SAP-Ne is proud to support the thoughtful ash management at Bud Leavitt and a growing network of demonstration sites, designed to showcase effective, hands-on techniques for stewarding ash trees and preserving future generations of ash in the face of emerald ash borer.
U.S. Indigenous Data Sovereignty and Governance Summit 2026
April 14-17, Tucson, AZ. The U.S. Indigenous Data Sovereignty Network invites Tribal and Indigenous leaders, Indigenous community programs, Indigenous data-focused scholars, policy experts, and other data actors and practitioners to participate in the 2026 Summit, “Coming Home: Indigenous Data Governance By Us For Us”. To serve that theme, sessions on April 16 and 17 are open exclusively to Indigenous people.
2026 South Central Climate Resilience Forum
April 15-17, San Antonio, TX. The 2026 South Central Climate Resilience Forum (SCCRF) will be an in-person 3-day event focused on fostering meaningful dialogue and action on climate resilience and adaptation across the region. The program will include presentations and sessions on resources, research, tools, knowledge, and experiences related to climate resilience. The Forum will be held in person in order for communities, practitioners, and researchers to form deeper connections and learn from each other. No virtual option will be available due to limited capacity.
2026 Native American Fish and Wildlife Society National Conference

The 2026 Native American Fish and Wildlife Society (NAFWS) Annual National Conference, hosted by the Oneida Indian Nation of New York, will be held from May 4 to 7, 2026 at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY. The room block at the Turning Stone Resort Casino will close on April 7.
2026 National Adaptation Forum
May 12-14, Pittsburgh, PA. The National Adaptation Forum is a biennial convening for adaptation professionals to innovate, network, and focus on established and emerging climate adaptation issues of the day. The Forum provides opportunities for professional development through training sessions, facilitated presentations and panels, and formal and informal networking sessions. The overall goal of the National Adaptation Forum is to move beyond adaptation awareness into adaptation action by highlighting the breadth of adaptation activities occurring in the United States and around the world.
