Administration for Native Americans (ANA) Tribal Consultation
August 14 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm CDT
The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) will host a virtual Tribal Consultation meeting on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. EST. During the meeting, ANA leadership will seek input from tribal leaders concerning economic development resources needed for tribal communities.
Established through the Native American Programs Act of 1974, the mission of ANA is to promote the goal of self-sufficiency and cultural preservation for Native Americans by providing social and economic development opportunities through financial assistance, training, and technical assistance to eligible Tribes and Native American communities, including American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, and other Native Pacific Islander organizations.
Now is an important time to think about the future of economic development in Tribal communities. As Tribes continue to strengthen their economic sovereignty and explore new opportunities, we want to hear from you. To help facilitate consultation discussions, we invite input on the following question:
What are your community’s priorities for economic development such as fostering private sector partnerships, improving infrastructure, supporting workforce development, or advancing other strategies your community is pursuing?
We welcome your ideas, suggestions, and experiences to help guide and enhance economic development in Tribal communities across the country.
