Description: This 2-day training will provide an orientation to basic standards of accounting and GAAP and implementation of strong financial management systems to comply with the general provisions of 2 CFR Part 200.302 Financial Management, as well as compliance with the NAHASDA statutes and regulations. The training will discuss each component of §200.302(b) to provide participants with the basic knowledge to properly administer NAHASDA and the IHBG program.

This training is intended to be an introduction to participants who have a basic knowledge of accounting and are new to the financial administration of the NAHASDA grant, and for those who need a refresher on best practices for a sound financial management system.
