Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), National Animal Disease Preparedness and Response Program (NADPRP) provides funding to collaborators to support high-value projects aimed at preventing and preparing for high-consequence animal disease outbreaks. Eligible applicants include Native American Tribes/ Governments, Tribal Organizations, and Tribal Universities and Colleges.  APHIS will provide up to $500,000 to support projects focused on the priority topics listed below.

• Support Outreach & Education on Animal Disease Prevention, Preparedness, and Response
• Support Livestock and Poultry Biosecurity
• Support Training & Exercises for Tribal Nations Animal Agriculture Sector Responders
• Develop, Enhance, and Exercise Tribal Animal Disease Emergency Response Plans
• Enhance Animal Disease Traceability for a Disease Outbreak
