Registration is now open for NCAI’s 2026 Executive Council Winter Session (ECWS), Indian Country’s early-year convening to set a unified agenda and advance Tribal priorities for the year ahead. This year’s ECWS will take place on February 9–12, 2026.

Each winter, Tribal leaders gather in Washington, D.C., to conduct the governing work of NCAI, engage directly with Congress and the administration, and shape national policy. ECWS is a critical moment to assert Tribal sovereignty as the foundation of federal policymaking and to strengthen nation-to-nation relationships.
