NIH Tribal Consultation on the All of Us Research Program
August 17 @ 11:15 am – 12:45 pm CDT
Dear Tribal Leaders,
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Tribal Health Research Office (THRO), in partnership with the All of Us Research Program, invites you to participate in a Tribal Consultation during the 2026 National Tribal Health Conference.
Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
Time: 10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. MST
Location: Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass, 5594 W. Wild Horse Pass Blvd., Chandler, Arizona
The purpose of this Tribal Consultation is to receive input from Tribal Nations on two important initiatives within the All of Us Research Program:
- Partnered Research Studies – The All of Us Research Program plans to provide external researchers outside of NIH with access to participant biospecimens, including blood, urine, and saliva, to advance medical research. Researchers from universities, nonprofit organizations, private industry, Tribal Nations, and government agencies may apply to use these biospecimens for broad research purposes.
- Expansion of the All of Us Data Structure – The All of Us Research Program is expanding its existing data structure to support future research and seeks Tribal input on these planned enhancements.
This Tribal Consultation will be held in person only. A virtual (Zoom) option will not be available. If you plan to attend, please register in advance using the following registration form:
