On behalf of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation (MPTN), all USET Tribal Nations are invited to the following opportunity from the National Indian Health Board (NIHB):

NIHB is launching a new strategic planning process and is hosting a series of listening sessions across Indian Country to hear directly from Tribal Nations. With the advocacy of USET Leadership, we were able to secure a listening session for the East Coast at Mashantucket.

This in-person listening session will be held in Mashantucket, CT on April 30, 2026 and is a key opportunity for our regional voices to shape the NIHB’s future efforts and priorities.

This session is intended to provide space for Tribal leaders, health directors, advocates, and community members to share their perspectives on priorities, challenges, and opportunities in Tribal health. Input gathered will help inform NIHB’s direction and how it supports Tribal Nations in the years ahead.
