SAMHSA Nutrition and Behavioral Health Listening Session

The goal of this virtual listening session is to gather information from participants to aid SAMHSA about the development of a resource that will assist partners in implementing and sustaining projects addressing the relationship between nutrition and behavioral health.
The Nutrition and Behavioral Health Project aims to promote emotional wellness and reduce the impact of mental health and substance use conditions by identifying and implementing strategies that address the intersection between behavioral health and nutrition, food security, and access to traditional foods.
SAMHSA invites participation in the upcoming listening session, especially to those who have expertise regarding the relationship between behavioral health and nutrition, food security, and access to traditional foods in: states/communities, tribes/tribal organizations, or maternal health. This listening session will then inform further activities to develop a resource. This session is open to the public, so please share it with those who you know may have similar expertise.
