This webinar provides an overview of the IRS’s free tax preparation programs: Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE). Participants will learn basic information on how local tribal communities can create their own free tax preparation sites to serve their local community. Additionally, attendees will receive important information about the upcoming grant application period, which opens on May 1, 2026.
