Tribal consultation on the NPRM entitled “Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Programs” issued by Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Pursuant to the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020, the NPRM proposes revisions to fundamentally reform the requirements for financial institutions’ anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) programs maintained by casinos and other financial institutions that may be owned by Tribal governments.
