Unlock Federal Funding to Expand Outdoor Recreation Access: A Guide to the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership (ORLP) Program
June 10 @ 1:00 pm
The Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership (ORLP) was established by Congress in 2014 to “provide grants for projects to acquire land and water for parks and other outdoor recreation purposes and to develop new or renovate existing outdoor recreation facilities.” Since then, the National Park Service has invested $465 million in local outdoor recreation projects through 165 grants in 37 states and the District of Columbia.
Trust for Public Land (TPL) is working in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS) to provide potential applicants with:
- ORLP application support webinar series
- One-on-one ORLP applicant support
- Self-serve resources for ORLP applicants
These tools will help applicants better understand the ORLP program requirements and create a competitive, compelling grant application for the ORLP Program.
