Food Sovereignty Fridays

USET’s Food Sovereignty Program is cancelling the remaining Food Sovereignty Friday webinars for 2025 (September, October, and November) and will reimagine the series in 2026. We appreciate all who joined the webinars in 2025, and we look forward to new and ongoing efforts with our member Tribal Nations’ food sovereignty programs.

On the last Friday of every month, the Food Sovereignty Program within the Office of Environmental Resources Management (OERM) will host a 1.5 hour webinar highlighting Tribal agriculture and aquaculture infrastructure best management practices that are successfully revitalizing Tribal food systems. Each Session will highlight Tribal Food Sovereignty Projects, and/or Culinary Traditions! All webinars will be open to the public and recorded.

When: The last Friday of the month at 10:00 am – 11:30 am Central/11:00 am – 12:30 pm Eastern

Who should attend: Tribal Leaders and Tribal Agriculture/Natural Resources/Environmental Directors. This is open to all of Indian country.
