On Wednesday, November 29, the White House Initiative on Advancing Education Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Native Americans and Strengthening Tribal Colleges and Universities and the White House Fellows Foundation and Association will co-host a special webinar about the White House Fellows Program as part of Native American Heritage Month.

The panel will feature several speakers, including Kyle Scherer, alumni chair for Native American recruiting, and other Native alumni of the White House Fellows Program, for a discussion about the White House Fellowship experience and impact. A Q&A session will follow the discussion.

The White House Fellows Program offers exceptional Americans first-hand experience working at the highest levels of the Federal government. After a competitive application process, selected individuals spend a year in Washington, D.C. working as a full-time, paid Fellow aiding Cabinet Secretaries, senior White House staff, and other top-ranking government officials. Fellows also participate in an education program consisting of roundtable discussions with renowned leaders from the private and public sectors. The program is open to U.S. citizens who hold at least a bachelor’s degree and are not employed by the Federal government unless they are career military personnel. Fellowships are awarded on a strictly non-partisan basis. Candidates can visit https://www.whitehouse.gov/get-involved/fellows/ to learn more and apply by January 5, 2024.

Please reach out to whitehousefellows@who.eop.gov with any questions.
