The Summer Transportation Internship Program for Diverse Groups (STIPDG) is an internship opportunity for undergraduate, graduate and law students, providing a hands-on experience in public service. In this program, interns will be able to build their network, develop skills and learn about open positions while learning more about transportation challenges and advancements in the U.S.

Students from underrepresented backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. Due to COVID-19 considerations, it has not yet been determined if the Summer 2022 program will be in-person or virtual. Interns will engage in either in-person or remote work as directed by mentors and program guidelines. Compensation includes a $4,000 stipend for undergraduate students, or a $5,000 stipend for graduate and law school students.

Application deadline is January 31, 2022.
