Building Resilience Through Food Sovereignty and Community Action
November 19 @ 3:00 pm
Access to locally driven climate adaptation strategies is a fundamental part of ensuring that Tribes can safeguard the health and well-being of their citizens. Through the Climate Ready Tribes (CRT) Initiative, Tribes across the country are building capacity to prepare for and respond to the health effects of climate change—strengthening food systems, protecting natural resources, and enhancing community resilience.
This free webinar will highlight how participating Tribes are leading climate resilience efforts in their regions. Presenters will share lessons learned, community priorities, and innovative projects designed to protect health and promote sustainability.
This session is ideal for Tribal environmental and public health professionals, climate adaptation coordinators, community planners, and others interested in Tribal-led climate action and resilience building.
