USET Economic Cluster Working Group – Creative Economies Session

September 17 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

USET’s Office of Economic Development is hosting our ongoing Economic Cluster Working Group sessions for our Creative Economies and Tourism Industry sectors. As part of our updated Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) plan to help rebuild and grow different areas of Tribal economies, we have created working groups that will work on key economic areas. The focus of this meeting will be to discuss the importance of a Chamber of Commerce and an ongoing list of local Native business owners in their communities. Each person in the Creative Economies working group will be asked to highlight and share a list of three Native-owned small businesses in their community and add those businesses to the spotlight questionnaire on OEcD webpage.

When: September 17 at 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm Central/2:30 pm – 4:00 pm ET

Who should attend: Tribal leaders, Tribal economic developers and staff, and community stakeholders, creative entrepreneurs, small business owners.
