The U.S. Department Transportation (USDOT) is pleased to announce that on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EST, USDOT will host a webinar on the Strengthening Mobility and Revolutionizing Transportation (SMART) grant program (see attached letter) established by the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. A Notice of Funding Opportunity on the SMART grant program was recently released by USDOT and this webinar will inform how Tribes may apply for the funding. The funding in the SMART program will support initiatives that focus on smart technologies that improve transportation safety and efficiency.
