We are pleased to invite you to a government-to-government consultation with the U.S. Department of Justice on the Department’s plan to consolidate the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, the Office of Justice Programs, and the Office on Violence Against Women into a single grantmaking component named the Bureau of Justice Grants. A framing paper providing additional background information and outlining issues for discussion accompanies this letter.

Please note that this consultation will be closed to the press. Please register by August 3 if you or your designated representative(s) plan to attend either or both of the sessions listed below.
